In
only a week time, in the period between
11 & 18 August
, M.Paar gave a total of five recitals with two completely
different programmes. The schedule starting with the
Bavaria concerts was exclusively featured through the collaboration with the
violinist/violist Stephan Gröger (Germany)
and the pianist Wen Xia (China)
and immidiately followed by the recitals with the prominent Japanese pianist
Hiroyo Imagawa in the Salzburg's Romanischer Saal whose
unique ambiance witnessed the performances of works by
Brahms (Sonata No.1), Schumann
(Fantasiestücke), Debussy (Première
Rhapsodie)
and
Poulenc (Sonata), arguably the
very best of all for the medium. In the meantime, M.Paar received official
invitations to take part in the renowned Vienna and Düsseldorf
clarinet competitions, while after the obligatory recital
given in the middle of June, he completed his master thesis winning the MA
degree with highest honor from the Mozarteum University of Music and
Dramatic Arts.
